I was wondering if anybody has used any of Aquaseal's products such as their "BC Life" or "Wetsuit Shampoo" ? And if so, what do you think of them?

I haven't used the products you mentioned, but I have made extensive use of Aquaseal [adhesive].

The stuff is great where you want a tough, waterproof seal. It's standard equipment for my outing and scuba clubs.. cave suits, wetsuits, minicell, kayak outfitting, you name it, aquaseal is great. My friend Joe has slowly been losing the knees on his farmer john for a while... a little Aquaseal after every dive... the knees are now mostly Aquaseal and not much neoprene

I haven't used any of the cleaning products (a bit skeptical. Afterall, a little bit of baby shampoo is a great defogger and much cheaper than those fancy bottles of defogger.). However, as mentioned above, the Aquaseal adhesive is great stuff. I tried some other neoprene adhesive - black gooey stuff - and the Aquaseal was much easier to work with and does it work! I even had a tube sit around for 9 years and it still worked great.

I use both the BC Life and Wetsuit Shampoo. I use the BC Life after almost every dive (mostly on the inside of my BC wing), and only use the Wetsuit Shampoo every couple of dives (should have used it after the last one - a seal crapped on us!). No complaints with either so far, they don't leave any residue or anything on the gear, although it takes a few rinses to get it all out of the wing's bladder. Leaves the inside of the BC smelling fresh though, and it is supposed to stop fungus growing inside, which can only be a good thing. The wetsuit also smells good after a wash, not that I pee in it to start with, but they can get a real funky smell after use anyway from sweat. I just wish they made something you could dunk your second stages in as well!
