Does an air transmitter fit on an Apeks DST?

I use a 4" hose it doesn't move at all and hits nothing. I'm guessing from your post you've not actually tried one.4 and 6" hp hoses are very stiff, the only way for it to hit a tank is if you forcibly bend it and try to do so.

Just not the elegant solution I was looking for. Luckily I either handle my own gear or patronize 'experienced' dive ops (live aboards or boutique dive ops) those crew are hopefully way too tenured/experienced to ever dream of using the AI transmitter as a grab handle.

Generally I'm not too concerned as like you, only I handle my gear but on liveaboards that may not always be the case particularly when the boat boys are swapping/re filling tanks etc while I'm sleeping
 
Is having the AI transmitter flopping all over the place smacking into your tank and other objects really a good solution ?
6" Hose and the transmitter routes securely underneath the 1st Stage out of the way. :)
