I read some place that if you are properly hydrated, urine is sterile and oderless. Isnt there also a natural reaction to pee that occurs when you submerge in water due to water pressure? I dunno. Im with you. pee, be happy and enjoy the dive

I do all the time. Urine is actually fine for your skin. Urine has many known medical applications. It stops the itch of poison ivy, it nutralizes stringing toxins found in a host of nasty critters and even cures ear infections. Its funny you should say that cause I got an ear infection that has stopped me from diving last weekend.
Not that i am going to try to administer it. Knowing my aim i`d probably end up getting it in my nose or eye.

As for peeing in my suit, only at the start of a dive not at the end.
Never noticed any smells or anything so no problems as far as im concened.

I wear a shorty most of the time so flushing is easy.

Good choice on bagging the ocean site when it didn't look right.

I change at the vehicle, drop my tarp and get down to dry undies or trunks depending if it's a wet or dry dive. There's nothing weird or indecent about peeling off a dive suit.

As for peeing, it's almost inevitable when I stand vertical at the end of a wet dive. I may go the whole dive with no need but when I stand, bam. Let it rip while you're in the water and stand a while off gassing before hiking out. It's no big deal. When your suit does eventually decide to stink it will be from rotting bio-load from the water, not your urine. A dunk rinse at home will make all well.

I keep Gatorade bottles in my dive bag for those locations where there is just no place modest to let it happen topside. Standing discretely in an open vehcle door or kneeling in the van I can solve apres dive discomfort.

It's a normal human function and you can bet that the family of 4 probably took liberty somewhere too.

If you're properly hydrated, smell shouldn't be a problem. Just don't eat asparagus before you dive.

I'm lucky enough to do my diving in the tropics, and don't wear a wetsuit. Just boardies and a rash top. Which means I can pee whenever I want. And I do, 3 or 4 times a dive !! You drink a hell of a lot of water in ther tropics tho' !!!
