Next Saturday Sept 20 is International Coastal Clean-Up Day. All divers are invited to participate in the biggest underwater clean-up event in the world at the Santa Monica Pier.

Heal the Bay, Eco Dive Center and city of Santa Monica, is sponsoring the underwater clean-up at the world famous Santa Monica Pier. You should see the things people throw off the pier! No, really you should. Last year divers found a gun, switchblade knife, voodoo dolls and a prom dress. Some come on out.

Go to EcoDiveCenter.com/SignUpSteps to learn how to sign-up. This isn't the easiest dive in Southern California so be prepared for a wicked long surf zone with some occasional poor viz. We'll have plenty of staff and divemasters for your safety and surface support (surf zone slaves). We'll need to get a little information from you, so go to the site and figure it out. But even though it's not the easiest, it is fun and you'll be part of something huge. So… go sign up!

If i did not have to work i would so be there

I don't know Erik you're letting that job thingy get in the way of your diving.
