How do they handle that with rental tanks?

Good question, I think there is some kind of a strap that you can use that has numbers. Some of the guys I dove with don't bother with the numbers on the tanks anyway. I think as long as you have the numbers on the flag you'll be ok even though regulations do call for them on the tank as well.

Nice job on the float...Mine is similiar except I used one of the large Foam Pool Noodles available from the local Wal-Marts.
How about letting us see pics of those spears next?
