I wouldn't have had enough wood i don't think, except for the uprights and the dowel its all scrap wood.
DIY drying and storage rack, any carpenters out there?

Like I posted: if it's sturdy enough for you now, stop playing with it. If it's not, then a 2x4x96 is usually less than $5.00.

it is sturdy now. I caulked all interior joints and seems last night and will prime today.
