Diver Rite direct sell the bladders for 70 bucks or so... just sew up a pocket out of ballistic fabric to put it in....

Not worth it if you consider the effort.. but if you're in it for the fun of DIY then go for it....

You could also use a car innertube, make mechanical bolt clamps to seal the ends tight, or use brake hose clamps, and use vulcanised rubber or mechanical fittings to make the couplings...

Everything is possible.... doesn't mean it will work, or won't...

Could you explain the use of mechanical fittings?

i took apart my Halcyon eclipse wing. Heck a little Yank ingenuity and the right materials and you could make one just as good. I want to revers engineer a trans pac harness

I think trying to save money by manufacturing one's own wing would be a foolhardy venture at best, and at worst, fatal.

I don't know about fatal.
You make it sound so extreme.
It's only a makeshift BC.
You have to remember....BC's weren't even invented until 30 or so years ago.
Until then, we used our lungs as BCD's
