Levity aside, I didn’t think it was possible to breast feed a 3 month old without being severely sleep deprived. I am sure you and most mothers function in this state far better than me, but I wouldn’t trust my judgment. Congratulations on your new baby.
 
we used to joke about an across-the-chest 'relief zipper' and whether to butt-mount the baby or sling him like a stage...

For the relief zipper just use a back entry drysuit and put it on backwards - instant boob zipper.
 
I'd imagine diving would have some effect on the quality and quality of your breast milk.
