Diving weekend May 8th and 9th

I am flying in Wednesday but have weekend free and would like to spend it diving (perhaps Channel Islands?).

Anyone planning a trip that I could join? Or knows a 2 day liveaboard I could hop on?

Or what would you suggest? San Diego or LA area is fine as I have not booked my flight from SFO yet so I am flexible.

I'm thinking about heading out to Casino Point for 2 dives Saturday morning.

I'm going out on Saturday on the Spectre to go to Anacapa/Santa Cruz, but it's only a one-day trip though.

Of course, you can do both days with the same boat and sleep on the boat. The charter doesn't mind if you do that.

Another option is to go out midnight Friday night with the Peace boat to go to San Miguel then come back and go out with them again for Anacapa the next day. Or if you prefer to try a different boat then go with the Spectre to Anacapa on Sunday.

Both boats are great boats, however the Spectre has better food & nitrox. Naturally the fee is higher.

Anyway, I'll be on the Spectre for Saturday, so if you were to want to do that boat, I'd be more than glad to be the local tour guide.

They're all good, so pick whichever island you want to explore.

I tried to book Saturday on Anacapa/Santa Cruz but boat was full. So I booked with Sundivers for Catalina morning and evening dive on Saturday and morning dive on Sunday.

You'll have fun regardless. Sundiver knows some sweet spots out at Catalina.

I had a blast! Wonderful weekend spent with Sundiver! Both captains were fantastic. Made both Farnsworths Saturday morning and had wonderful evening/night dives that day too! Sunday was also a blast (had wonderful dive buddies).

I'll be diving with Sundiver again!

I was told that I am extremely lucky to make both Farnsworth and Little Farnsworth in the same day!
