Diving Video

I ran across this on cnn.com this morning. The sound on the work computer doesn't work, but the little bit of reading I did on the website shown in the video says this hotel is at about 300 ft of water.

Its kind of long, and most of the diving pictures are at the end, but it seems to be a neat perspective of before / after the creation of the lake.

The video is interesting in and of itself, maybe with sound it would be better.

That looks like a pretty cool dive! In fact, I emailed the guy who found it. He has a charter service on the lake. I asked if he would be willing to take folks out to the lodge on a guided charter.

Anyone game? I'll let you know what he says when, and if, he gets back to me.

The drive is about the same as going to North-Central Florida.

My cave instructor dived the Girls Camp there. Thats in around 300 feet of water.

Personally if I were driving from Texas I would head for Florida.

Aw, come on Texas!! They don't have any underwater hotels in Florida . You have to be tri-mix certified to go the Lodge. Charters are only available through Bill at Off The Wall Charters.

Non-trimix divers can come hang on the deco line, too! It is a pretty cool experience.
