I'm interested in diving the sunken Redondo Beach Pier and I would like to know if anybody has any experiences diving this site. Also, does anyone know the exact location and the approximate depth at the end of the pier? I'm also curious if there are any other sunken piers in California that are divable.

It is illegal to dive close to the pier. The current pier was built over where the Horseshoe Pier was before it burned. There are pier pilings to dive near the Topaz Street jetty, about 1/4 mile south of the Redondo pier. That may be what you are referring to. The pilings begin in 35 feet at a heading of 285 from the end of the jetty. There are at least five pilings that extend toward the canyon down to 45 feet.

Thank you so much for your help. I hope to dive it this weekend if weather permits.
