Was scalloping a week ago.
A local suggested diving at the hospital or hole in front of the hospital?????
He wasn't really helpful but when he saw we had tanks he asked if that's where we were going.

Any idea what he was talking about?

I didn't get any pics of the scallops from this year(last years scallops) but will post some if I go again.
No pics of this either. The biggest brown ray I've ever seen about 4 ft. across.

Was real windy the first day and the second wasn't as bad but had a good timedThanks,Jerry. Picture 010.jpgPicture 009.jpg

Hospital Hole is in Weeki Wachee River. You need a canoe or kayak to get there. It's a couple hundred yards up river from Rogers Park. Manatee's visit in the winter. The hole is 140' to the bottom, with a Sulfide layer at 70'. The walls are completely covered in grafitti. There used to be a boat on the bottom, but it's no longer there. Just a couple crab traps and silt.

Thanks, doesn't sound like I need to look into going there.
