explained exactly when to stop releasing air from the BC for neutral buoyancy.
The way you phrase this makes it sound like you have a "rule of thumb" or a tip on how to know when to stop venting. If you do, care to share? I'm always just "eyeballing" it (as in, releasing air until it feels right, usually slightly negative) and then making small taps on my power inflator until I'm balanced out, but if you have some tip or trick for a faster way, I'd love to here it.

Release air slowly until head goes underwater. Exhale deeply. That's it.

And is that the same for a shorty, 3 mm long suit, 7mm and drysuit? And at what depth will you be neutral then? Seems to me that i will depend if you slowly descend while swimming or you go down a shotline to a target depth?

Seems a bit to generic, but maybe youre right and is it in all those instances good enough as a starting point.

Works for any configuration. Compensation for buoyancy shift at depth is different of course but suit compression affects Avelo too.

If I had to explain how to ride a bicycle to teach others, no one would own bikes. It sounds more complicated than it is. But, once you’ve done it, it becomes more intuitive each time.

Ok will try it sometime. I normally dont have a problem becoming neutral, but never used a basic 'rulecof thumb'. If it works its a good starting point when helping others. And now back to avelo :)
