Anyone interested in getting a dive or two in on the Sonoma coast this Saturday? I'm heading up there for the weekend with my girlfriend, but she's going to be in meetings all day Saturday, which gives me a perfect opportunity to finally check out some of the sites.

Conditions are looking like they're going to be excellent.

I would but I already commited to diving monterey all day saturday and part of sunday.

Hi DOH,

What area are you two going to be in?

I will be camping at Stillwater all weekend with a huge abalone prep/cook crew!! We have 2 campsites and probably 8 divers so far. 2 of the guys I invited haven't much experience so I will be spending some time with them to help out but I plan on doing some spearfishing too. We always bring tanks to do some scuba in the afternoon, but if my gf can find someone to scuba with, I would prefer to freedive all day and hopefully put some fish on the stringer!! Stop by and say hi...we should be in the water at 8am on saturday morning.

We're staying down near Tomales Bay, but I was planning to head up the coast to dive. Are you guys going to dive for abs in Stillwater Cove? If so, I may head up there around 8ish and see if I can catch up with you all. Not sure if they've all been snatched up yet, but there were plenty of legal abs in <10' of water in the cove a few weeks ago.

A friend of mine and I are going diving Saturday along the Sonoma/Mendocino coast. We're not sure yet where. We plan on doing ab diving in the morning and scuba in the afternoon.

I'm planning to hook up with BrianM and his group to do the same thing at Stillwater. Let me know if you want to join us.

Hi Andy,

There's plenty of room for a few more!!! I might even be able to talk the other half into bringing the portable stove and the french press down to the beach for a cup 'o joe after the dives.

Thanks for the invite Brian. Are you guys doing scuba or abing? Stilwater is pretty well picked over, but can be a nice dive.

Coffee is always much appreciated!!
