Greetings,

I will be visiting San Diego from Europe) on August 21st-22nd and would like to take advantage of this opportunity to log a couple of dives. I'm looking for something nice and easy. Considering that I will need to rent most of my gear (only bringing mask and computer with me), could someone please recommend a reliable dive center or boat operator?

In advance many thanks.

Lois Ann has a 3-tank trip on the 21st. San Diego Scuba Diving, Lois Ann Dive Charters Home Page They're diving wreck alley. (the Yukon and Ruby E) Depending on conditions that can either be an easy dive or an experienced dive. Lois Ann Dive Charters - Dive Sites

They leave from the Mission Bay area. Check to be sure but I believe they provide tanks/weights, that's not always the case on SoCal diveboats.

Dive California is on Sports Arena Blvd - slightly south of there - maybe 2-3 miles? Dive California: Equipment Rentals for gear rental.

You might find another option at the bottom of this list: California Dive Boats : The Official Page
