Folks, it is a nice location for people that live in or near Singapore as it is close and can be inexpensive. On a scale of 1-10 with a 10 the highest:
- Dive location shops/serice = 7
- Reef = 2 compared to Mablu/Sipadan a 9
- Nice friendly spot to dive.
- Ease of Travel (on Berjaya air a 6) for Bus/ferry a 2
- Resorts have varying price points. You get what you pay for. But all safe and fun. Rate = 3

From Singapore and doing a weekend trip without flying, this is a nice spot. You can get in 6 dives on Sat/Sun and back to the office on Monday. It is fun, budget accomodations prevail but so what, you are here to see the fish. The reefs are much better than 3 years ago.

Good spot.

In terms of practical info, Zippsy's advice is excellent (as aways - well almost)

What do you mean "almost"??? :p
