Hey... I really enjoyed the wonderful tour and it did not cost me anything...nice job fellows!!

some great photos.. I was ready to log a couple dives after viewing them. Is it just me or are you at the threshold of coming over to the dark-side ref: your cave dive
photos. Be warned she will lure you in and hook you. Once hooked there will not be a day that goes by that you do not think of her. You will find yourself in a love affair that will last a life time ask any cave diver. If you decide to cross over North Florida is only 10 hrs drive & has some beautiful caves and very good Instructors.

Again thanks for the sharing your photos.
Dave

Yes, much to Angie's chagrin, I think I'm hooked. :D Brandon and I have been researching instructors, so if you have any suggestions I'm all ears. We're not averse to going anywhere for our initial class...Coz, Yucatan, N. Florida. We just want a good instructor.

The other thing we're trying to decide is which agency to go with...TDI, NACD, GUE, or NSSCDS. Does it really matter, or is it all about finding a good instructor? If we take our intro class with a TDI instructor (as an example) can we take full cave from another agency?

You opened a can of worms here... ;)

Great shots John. Thanks for posting. Makes me want to head south.
Let me know when you're ready!! :D

Do yourself a favor and break up the training. Cavern & intro, apprentice cave & advance nitrox & deco procedures, Full cave. Then do a fun cave trip between certs. to build up experience. As far as a Instructor Nick Leonne works out of North Florida I have had 2 buds that did their training with him and they both say he is Top Notch.

Thanks for the tips! We were planning on doing just what you suggested...getting our cavern and intro to cave, taking a trip to do some cave diving and then getting our full cave cert the following summer. I already have my trimix cert and Brandon will have his advanced nitrox and deco cert in a couple of weeks.

I appreciate the suggestion for an instructor too! We'll check him out.

I haven't taken instruction with him but I have seen him teach, from what I saw I would give him props as a good instructor.

Sounds like a good Plan..
