I got dry suit certified earlier this year. Since I don't have a dry suit, I've asked a few dive shops about rentals. Unless they have your size in their rental pool, it seems to take them a few days to get the right size suit to rent. I gather there's some place in the LA area that all the dive shops go to for rental dry suits. If you are planning to rent a dry suit, you might want to make sure a dry suit in your size is available in advance of when you're going out

Go wet or go home. :D

I heard that saying once before but it was slightly different. I heard, "Go dry or be so cold that you don't enjoy your dive". Oh well. Must be a regional difference. ;)
