Hello all,

I'm planning a trip to Maine and would like to dive Nubble light. I dove last year with Green_Manelishi and had a great dive. I'm getting in late evening 9/19 and would be available to dive 9/20, 21 or 22.

Anyone interested?

Chip

Anyone?

The mid-day low tides that weekend don't make that site attractive to a lot of us I fear. The entry and exit gets pretty treacherous as you leave high tide.

Late on the 22nd is a possibility but I need to see whatever else is calling my name. Planning will be clearer latter in the week. If you're open to some less tide sensitive locations up towards Kennebunk for instance that opens things up some, let me know.

Pete,

I am totally open to other places nearby. I am also able to dive Nubble early in the day to avoid tidal issues. I'll have at least 2 maybe 3 steel 100's so multiple dives would be possible.

I know last year when we dove Nubble the second day the tides were low and we had to crawl out on our hands and knees. Not fun.

thanks

Chip,

Where are you staying? Remind me latter in the week and with any luck we can at least plan on Saturday of mother nature does not crap on us. Friday evening is also a possibility. PM me and we can exchange landlines, cell #s and such.

Yee hoo! I got two great Maine shore dives in last weekend courtesy of Spectrum. Thank you!

I'll be back next year (if not sooner) and hope to dive with you again. Thank you for your generous sharing of local dive wisdom and knowledge.

We had a couple of fairly long and very interesting dives.
