Diving near Duke U?

well, our april ocean dive was blown out, but i was gonna do it in a 3mil john & jacket & hood. i'll let you know how that get up is in similar temps after this weekend, since i'm going tomorrow! yay!

So...

Just spent the last few days in Durham...
Unfortunately had no time to go diving... Besides, we got drunk most (all) nights, so probably would not have been the best idea...

On another note, thanks for NC's hospitality. You guys are really the greatest. Fond memories of Durham, Chapel Hill, and also Hog Heaven...

And we came back home from the rugby tourney with some hardware...

Memories to last a lifetime!!!

Please bear in mind we are the only country to have beaten you guys fair and square in a war (1812)... I can defend myself!!!

On a more serious note, what kind of exposure protection would be appropriate at that time of the year?

Sorry to bust your bubble there Alex, but the War of Northern Hostility against the south.....aka the Civil War.....was fought from 1861-1865......1812 was the Brittish Invasion when the White House was burned.......I see southern schools are spot on though!

Watch out for Babyduck, she's liable to drown you in a cave or something, and here lately if you get in a car with her, odds are you will end up in Florida.......I could expand further on Babyduck, however, I fear the mods of Scubaboard wouldn't be too enthralled with my verbage.

I missed that you were from Canada....didn't look for that......figured you for a yankee...but I see you are really yank....a maple leaf yank a Quebeqian Maple Leaf Yank....are you an Quebec Independence guy, or are you ok with being canadian?......don't know bout bein defeated in 1812 though......seems to me that we are still a country independent of foreign rule.....smells like victory to me.

I was trying to be polite to Marci on Scubaboard Bob......I'm only mean to her on NCDivers....but I am nice to her face out of fear of being belted......she's vioent that marci is, didn't you hear about her beating up some Big Burly Cave Diver at DEMA? The cops came, hauled her away, and I heard she gave them a time too.....then she made bond, and was diving the next day.<-------Diver's Embellishment......kind of like a fish story eyebrow
