Here on Maui you can dive year round. The only thing that would inhibit the diving is if it rains hard and you have run off from the mountains. This would effect shore diving for about 3 to 4 days. However boat dives would hardly be effected. You'll find that the many dive companies are located on the south shore where waves are not prevalent as with the north shore at that time. You'll be able to get some good diving in no problem.
