I'm flying in Wednesday night to Port Huron area and want to get some diving in before I leave on the 8th.

I have used Rec & Tec Dive Charter out of Port Sanilac in the past, but they cleared their calendar last night on their website of all bookings for a couple weeks.

I have called several other charters around MI and left voice mails and no luck.

Anyone know of any good charters within a few hour drive of the Port Huron area?I'd prefer within an hour, but I dive every weekend and don't see any reason to break the pattern because of a little drive.

If anyone is interested in shore diving, and knows where I can rent tanks, that would work too. I'll be bringing my drysuit, bc, regs, etc. I'll bring my passport just in case.

I'd really like to get my plans nailed down before the weekend, so if anyone knows of any charters that are running and have open slots I would appreciate the reply.
Ditto for anyone interested in connecting for some shore diving.

I'm game for diving from Thursday to Tuesday the 7th.

Thanks in advance,
- Stosh

Hmmm... I was schedule to dived with Gary on the 3rd and go hit the Wexford. I wonder what happened.

I will have to cal my Dive Shop to get the 411

You have the whole length of the St. Clair River to play in. The dives under the Blue Water are a blast. If you would like to do some "treasure" digging in Marine City then send me a PM. I will connect you with a crew who will be diving all weekend.

I would head to Alpena

Bruno's dive charter rocks!!

I know you already posted in my other thread but, this is for anyone else who is checking out Sanilac for this weekend.

We love Bruno's. Not as fancy as Rec N Tec but, they get the job done and we have a blast with them. We dived with them every Sunday for the last 2 mos of the season. They are that good. The DM's are more than helpful and they are on top of what they do.

If anyone is going this Sunday the 5th, I'm bringing HomeMade Banana Muffins (with an extra banana thrown in) and White Chocolate Chip with Raspberry Cookies.

Bruno's Dive Shop - Diving the Great Lakes since 1968

There is another Charter but, I don't know if they are full or not. Four Fathoms Dive Shop. Small boat and one of the best Captain's in the business. John knows the water better than anyone I've met so far. And he has bunk beds, kitchen, and bathroom for $25 a night.

Four Fathoms. Scuba Equipment, Training, Michigan Wreck Diving.

I will be doing some shore diving on the Canadian side of the St. Clair River. It looks like mainly on the 5th - in Port Lambton which is across from Marine City and then later on the 5th I'm thinking of hitting one of the sites up around the blue water bridge. Then on the 6th I will be either back at Port Lambton or the bridge again. PM me if you are interested.

I second the choice of Bruno's Dive Shop. Extremely nice people, good service, good DMs. The charters leave from Port Sanilac.
