Hi guys
have dived a fair bit in Thailand and Malaysia and will be heading to the Perhentian to do our IDC in march and then at the end of the dive season we will be hoping to come your way flying into Manilla probably around september time.

can you advise me at all on how difficult it would be for a husband and wife team to get work teaching.

thanks

oh... i thought you meant to teach in a university :)

maybe the resident instructors can help you: axua, norman, zylke...

Hi Bubble,
Speaking from PG experience...

Work availability varies depending on seasons, but generally there is quite a decent amount of freelance work going between October and May - with xmas, ny, chinese ny, and easter being the 'high' periods. Finding work for you both at the same shop might not come to easy but certainly here most place are a short walk from each other anyway.

Best results will come from being here and meeting people, knowing the dive sites and just being around when work becomes available.

What certs do you plan to have(msdt etc?) and what other skills/languages do you both have?

I'm sure the other pros will enlighten you regarding other areas of the PI.

Regards,

Matt.
