Scubalibre
YOUR DIVING BUDDY IN ROMANIA

Scubalibre is the first scuba diving integrated platform in Romania, offering a large range of professional services at international standards for diving lovers from all over the world. Founded by people with a passion for diving and everything great that comes with this, Scubalibre wants to show the international divers community what Romania has to offer: recently discovered wrecks, interesting underwater marine life, the fabulous Danube Delta, together with other ingredients that will make everybody’s stay fun and memorable.

Our dive center in Eforie is the most modern and best equipped in Romania. From here, we organize diving trips to the best sites on the Romanian Black Sea Coast. The marine life is different from other sites in Europe, as the Black Sea is a semi-closed sea. People especially enjoy meeting dolphins and groups of hundreds of sea horses, but also fish such as mackarel, anchovy, goby, mullet, Black Sea salmon, turbot, whiting, sprat, seabass etc.
The best time of the year to visit us is June-September, and the extended season goes from March to November.

There are more than 20 wrecks in the Romanian territorial waters of the Black Sea that can be visited. The most popular are Moskva, Shuka 213, Sadu, Arkadia, You Xiu, Paris, Medy, Mitera Zafira, Multi Trader, Vishva Shanti, R-36. We are proud to have contributed to the discovery of three wrecks within one year, including the famous Moskva wreck in May 2011, and want to focus further on discovering other wrecks. We offer the divers the chance to join our explorers in their searching expeditions, so that they can be part of memorable experiences. For certified divers and beginners, we organize English and Romanian-speaking courses in the PADI and NAUI systems, under the guidance of some of the best and most experienced instructors in Romania. Starting 2012, we’ll also include GUE courses for an international audience.

The theoretic part of the courses takes place in dedicated areas equipped with everything necessary – from plasma, projector and hi-quality audio system to scuba equipment. The PADI and NAUI affiliation guarantees the trainees that they benefit of the best training and materials. The practical part of the courses takes place at our operational basis in Eforie Nord.
The dive center is excellently located at the end of a dike facing both the Belona beach and the marina of Ana Yacht Club. Scubalibre has its own private beach and offers a fantastic chill out atmosphere. People safety is essential to us, so we have in place all the necessary means to provide professional assistance in case of emergency.
