Well that may be true, however, I dont have all those extra layers of "insullation" that LobstaMan has, particularlly around his waist!!!

I do have to say that I didnt notice in the original post that you'll be in Long Island. Water temps are usually 5 degrees warmer there than Massachusetts so I am sure you'll be okay. Though if you are diving wet it may be only a one dive day, unless you have a place to warm up (yourself and your suit) between dives.

The reason why you probably didn't notice the water temp in Long Island is probably the extra sewage and stuff that floats around there.
