Its like everywhere else....Some sites are better than others. IMO, I think its pretty decent diving compared to what I'm used to-cold dark quarries. I just booked two days worth of diving for the last week of July for Myrtle.

Which sites?

I am diving Goldfinch reef and the Bill Perry. I dove the Goldfinch last year. It was a pretty nice dive. Good place to see sharks. The shop I am diving through (Express Watersports) considers the Bill Perry to be one of the nicer dives in Myrtle.

I have also heard nice things (haven't dove here yet) about the City of Richmond wreck. Lots of tropical fish gather there and the water is usually pretty clear there from the videos I have seen.

I'll post a trip report when I return.
