Despite the fact that I live 2 miles from it, I've never been. There is a designated area for diving there, but for the most part you have to rent a boat to access it ($45/hr), unless you want to hike a near quarter mile with all of your gear.

I've never really heard any mention of the quality of diving from anybody (maybe with good reason), but you can get a 'life' pass there, no charge, and dive anytime you want.

There is a submerged valley and structures under the lake somewhere, but I don't know if that is what you see in the designated diving area..it's used a lot for training I guess.

Still, I'd be willing to do it.
