Diving in Marsh Creek, PA

Any PA Divers ever been to Marsh Creek, in Chester County?

Not much I'm sure, but if any interested, let me know, it's two miles from my house.

I have never dove there, but I grew up in Lancaster. How is the diving there?

Despite the fact that I live 2 miles from it, I've never been. There is a designated area for diving there, but for the most part you have to rent a boat to access it ($45/hr), unless you want to hike a near quarter mile with all of your gear.

I've never really heard any mention of the quality of diving from anybody (maybe with good reason), but you can get a 'life' pass there, no charge, and dive anytime you want.

There is a submerged valley and structures under the lake somewhere, but I don't know if that is what you see in the designated diving area..it's used a lot for training I guess.

Still, I'd be willing to do it.
