I'm heading to Lima in 3 weeks and was curious if anyone on this board has dived in Lima? 3 companies I am currently looking into are Spondylus Divers, Naylamp and Peru Divers.
I checked the first 2 shops websites and all 3 shops YouTube videos, the diving itself looks decent and saw some octopus, a kelp forest, sea lions and a couple of other things I haven't seen yet and think this may be worth doing 2 or 3 days of morning dives.
My issue is with the dive boats - they are the size of dinghies which, to me, looks very uncomfortable as I am a big guy in my 40's. I don't want to sound spoiled but I am used to the dive boats used in the states, most of my dives in Florida, not these small dinghies. Once I'm in the water I'll be fine, the issue is throwing on your wetsuit, setting up your gear, putting on your gear, in this small boat.
Has this been a concern for anyone else? Or am I really just making more of this than I need to?
