In july I'm going to be up toward fort erie doing some bottle diving in the niagra river. My dive buddy and I are planning on going up early to do some wreck diving. Can anyone give me some dive shops, or dive boats that offer trips. Also what are some good wrecks to try and check out. Niether of us are tec divers so we would be looking for wrecks less then 100 ffw. thanks

I live and dive out of Buffalo, NY and the shop I use is Phoenix Scuba http://www.ptbreeze.com/ the owners Carole Bloomquist and Tony Anderson are great people and alot of fun to dive with, they can also hook you up with a dive boat and give you all the best wrecks in the area..

give me a shout before you come if you don't mind a tag along diver!

I do a lot of diving out of Buffalo. The better wrecks are over 100' there are some 120' and 130' that are nice!! The shallower wrecks are not that great. I've never been on an Osprey Charter to a shallow wreck (doesn't mean they don't do them).

The Benson is a nice dive, it's about 75'

In Lake Erie, the deeper you go the better shape the wrecks are in.

We haven't loaded up the Calendar yet but check out Discover Diving They do trips with a local guy to some of the shallower wrecks.
