IF you have the dry suit then might as well put it to good use. Wetsuit is fine but drysuit is warmer.

Are you planning on shore diving or boat diving? My dive buddy and I are planning on a boat dive on the 21st. Which boat we don't know yet.

BTW I'll be DM'ing the Cee Ray on the 22nd.

Dry suit and a charter to Catalina. I recomend the Magician. Or a 6 pack trip on the PSaltyV. More money, but, well worth it...

Even a shore dive by the Casino aint bad. Lots of kelp and fish. It is cold in a 7 mil but doable.

well this all sounds great. my only issue with a boat dive is I get mildly sea sick, never puked but always feel a bit crappy. Although it sounds like it might be worth it?

I'm the same way....so I prefer to shore dive locall or take the Catalina Express (big boat, doesn't get rocked by the swell so much) and dive Casino Point.

FWIW, there is some GREAT shore diving over on the main land, but it's probably best to go out with some of the locals so you don't end up finding a bunch of sand only! Lots of people said they'll be available and I may be as well. Keep us posted on your upcoming trip.

Hi Julian,

If you only get mildly seasick try seasick pills they work great.
