Looking to dive La Paz over Easter weekend - April 18 - 21st... I hear spring diving is not the best time. Can folks confirm?
Thanks

Hi from Baja Dive in Cabo San Lucas.

The best time to dive in La Paz is from July to December. Generally the water temperatures are quite cold in April, around 65 degrees and the water can be a bit green due to all the nutrients in the water. A bonus in April will be the whales should still be around however it will be close to the end of the season so the water visibilty should be around 30-50ft on average.

It can also be a little windy on the La Paz side but you can never guess with the weather. My suggestion would be to directly contact a diving operation in La Paz or try to dive in Cabo San Lucas.

Please email me if you need any more help.

Regards
Charlie
