Is there ANYONE who wants to dive la jolla shores/marine room tonight or any night in the near future? I'm having trouble connecting and the few guys I usually dive with are too busy.

eric_g: I'm sure you will soon hook up with the many SD divers. San Diego is a great diving town with many good shore sites. If you are in La Jolla you might want to try a very small reef off the end of Wind'N'Sea beach. If you come down the stairs at the end of Nautilus St. and go North a bit, just south of what the locals used to call alligator point You can then make a very easy beach entry, swim out about 100-150 yds and submerge, you will see a small reef that runs N/S in 50-70 fsw. This nice kelp reef gets very little traffic. Lots of abalone and lobster and a very interesting dive.
