I'm going to be traveling to Israel in April 2015 and have the opportunity to arrive a few days early to get some diving in. I'm assuming since I'll be arriving mid-week, I won't be able to book with a dive shop, but if I'm wrong, please tell me. I don't need a baby-sitter, but another diver or guide familiar with the area and the permits required in some locations, plus I'll need to rent tanks & weights.
I'll be in Tel Aviv, but will rent a car to go to Ceaserea or the northern Mediterranean coast if that's available for diving.
I've never dove in Israel, so any place it's wet will suit me.
Eilat isn't going to fit in my itinerary, although I know the Red Sea is the place to go. Have to stick with the Med. for this trip.
Thanks for any suggestions.
