may be up around Des Moines this summer. anyone know of any good places/groups to dive with in that area.

i have done lake okaboji. nice family area. cant talk much about the area now my last dives were late 60's early 70's. if you have the time head east on highway 3 and go to wisconsin devils lake, live sponge growing at least in the 70's no info on dive shops though. okaboji is in the area of spirit lake check the history books spirit lake masacre. great shore walk in diving makes it very affordable
