Looking for dive spot recommendations near Freeport Bahama. There are quite a few dive site maps online, but I'm wondering how accessible these dive sites are from a small vessel at anchor. Are there mooring balls that you trust in sensitive coral areas? How's the bottom? Shallow sand over rock or hardpan, seagrass, etc.?

I’ve noted slightly better conditions off of the Lucaya side of Grand Bahama. I really can’t say that there remain ‘sensitive coral areas’ .
