Every month, divers across the world add or remove different pieces of equipment from their collection of active diving gear for various reasons.

Which pieces of diving equipment have you added or removed this month from your collection ? And why ?

None

Not really this month, but I almost never use my foldable snorkel anymore. I still consider it if I am in a place where I could find myself in unexpected strong current (like an inlet). I'm so familiar with most of my dive sites that I know the air in my tank is all I'll need. I used to take it in my BC pocket every dive, but there is the chance it would fall out, as the Velcro on the pockets died years ago.
A couple of years ago I added a bungee cord that goes around my head and holds my primary 2nd stage mouthpiece in my mouth--should I ever go unconscious for any reason. Poor man's FFM. Have yet to hear of anyone else doing this.

I got a new regulator set second hand, Seac DX200. I also got a Scubapro MK25/S500 on its way that I got second hand.
I converted my BP/W to a toddy style side mount rig. I don't know if that counts as adding gear.
I got a new mask that I love! The Aqualung Technisub micromask.
I have a drysuit that I ordered 2 months ago that should be here this week.
I got some OMS weight pouches to replace my weight belt.

I really like trying different gear. I wish I could just get setup and be happy with what I have but I've always been this way with my hobbies.

Swapped my back up second stage Aqualung legend LX for a HOG classic second stage. After servicing them both I came to the conclusion that the quality and breathing was very similar and the HOG service kits were $13.99 vs $40.00

Interesting question. Once I got my equipment configuration the way I wanted it, I haven't added or subtracted anything in many years. If I go away to dive warm water in the winter, I'll switch to my 3 mm wetsuit. Otherwise, my gear remains the same from year to year.

I changed the short hose on my side mount regs. It was a little too short.
Do repairs count? I had to replace a grommet on my sidemount harness, plus the nut/bolt that went through it.
