Take an Aspro before exercising. Start with a power walk and progress to light jogging. Take fluids while out on the road, and during the day to recover. Don't drink manufactured juices or soft drinks. Eat plenty of fruit. If you work behind a desk, take a break between exercising. One day on, one day off.

Hmmm. ASPRO is an Australian term.
Who are you, really?

Have you noticed any ringing in your ear or some hearing loss with the dizziness, if so, you may want to consider looking into the possibility of Ménière's disease.

People use "dizziness" to describe all sorts of symptoms, which can make it hard to figure out what's going on. The feelings associated with a drop in blood pressure, which I would expect if it was a cardiac issue, are much different than those associated with inner ear issues, for example.

No ear issues. Just dizziness, like loss of balance for a couple minutes while I’m running outside. Relieved it’s not a heart thing. Gotta be some sort of motion sickness/vertigo from the repeated running movement since it doesn’t happen on treadmill. Going to follow up with a doc soon. Also might try some Dramamine before running and see if that cuts it out.

Thanks for the helpful feedback everyone!

It’s the troll that used to say he was from Perth unfortunately. Tasman Diver? Or something similar that is now banned.

interesting update…

After having no dizziness during the stress test, I hopped on the treadmill at home and ran my full regular distance and speed without dizziness. Weird.

a dozen runs outside with symptoms
a couple on the treadmill without

Definitely not cardiac issue, which is relieving. Gotta be some sort of motion sickness reaction from the running motion. Did some googling and this can be a form of migraine.

Confident I won’t be having any sort of cardiac event in the water now so I’m More comfortable with the idea of diving now than I was. Especially since it’s all very casual dives. Any objections?
Hi @mc12301 ,

It sounds like you are asking the folks in this forum for something like a medical clearance to dive, which can only be done after an in-person visit with a physician who is trained and experienced in evaluating divers. Self-diagnosis via Google is not advisable. Please see my previous recommendation. If you are in Monmouth County, you're pretty close to the UPenn Hospital hyperbaric facility. Will send contact info via PM.

Best regards,
DDM
