Hi!I will spent 2 weeks in January, working in Cebu City,Philipines, then will take a week to MoalBoal for some R&R and diving.I plan to dive with Savedra Dive Center.Still undecided on where to stay.I am considering Cabana Resort,QuoVadis and Savedra Cottage. This is my first time to MoalBoal. Can anyone help with some recommendations? Thanks alot in advance.Fredi.

Try Pacita's Nipa Huts - I thought it was the best bet for price / comfort. Think I paid around 600P per night over the summer, it will probably be a bit more expensive in January due to high tourist season. Also dove with Savedra, no complaints about the shop.

have fun!

Why don't you try Eve's Kiosk. It's right in front of Savedra. They have a variety of rooms, from a pita hut, duo rooms with a shared bathroom or an actual nice room next to their swimming pool.

I don't know the actual costs of the nice rooms because I'm a cheap traveler, but the huts go for about 300 pesos a night. Roughly $5. Nothing special. Even the nice rooms shouldn't cost more than $20 a night, but that's just my guess.

Moal Boal isn't so large. You can walk from one end to the other in 10 minutes. Anywhere you stay, you'll have great diving. I saw my first Whaleshark there!

Good luck.

Chris
