Hello everyone.

I just had surgery about a month and a half ago. (They removed a benign cyst from my uterus) Although my doctor says it's okay for me to go about my normal activities, I'm still not sure about the diving part. (My doctor isnt a diver) Any thoughts on whether its safe to go back into the water? Thanks.

Howdy joyfulsun:

Glad you're on the road to recovery. I answered a similar question about gallbladder surgery at:

Lifting/straining restrictions after larger abdominal incisions (larger than the typical laparoscopic incisions, that is) are usually stricter. Your doctor is your best guide.

Thanks a bunch for the advice BillP :)

Thanks for the info and links. I just had hernia surgery about 4 weeks ago and it's a slow path to full recovery.

Can't wait for things to get back to normal :)
