Last Sunday we had excellent conditions on the local wreck dive. Warm, clear water and little current. He's 14 yrs old now and I am pretty comfortable taking him to 90 feet.

Not the most exciting video, but the water was nice.

Video was shot with a small, two handle tray and dual lights to bring out some color.

Very good, what wreck was that ?. I'll be back in Florida in a few weeks for work but will have a day or two for diving.

The viz was amazing last weekend wasn't it? Probably the best visibility I have seen in a while. And some of the bluest water I have seen in the area in some time. It was nice not diving into the green abyss for once :)

I'm curious what the name of the wreck is as well. I'm on the west coast and WPB could easily be a weekend trip for me.

It is called the Governor's River Walk wrecks.. There are like 3-4 wrecks all in a row. They are just outside the Lake worth (palm beach) inlet to the south. If you start putting your wetsuit on in the inlet, you may well be on the wreck site before you are fully dressed. The current can be challenging there, at times.. We saw a lemon shark too, but it was too shy and far away to come out in the video..

I guess my reg. is a 109 and we had the snapper for dinner a few nights ago (and some other fish) hunting was pretty slow...

Thanks for sharing DD. I wish I could get my 15 year old son interested. Hopefully in the future he may decide to do it. No pressure. I have a 21 year old daughter who is interested and has the opportunity with where she is in school at Cal Poly SLO, but does not really have the time so I will wait with her until she is out of school (Yeah!) this spring.

Yeah: last weekend was beautiful. NOAA called for bouncy topside conditions and I only saw one foot waves Saturday AM in WPB. Vis was amazing underwater at the Flower Garden and the Breakers: it seemed like 100 feet +. I did not have much luck finding lobsters though....

Thanks for posting DD.
