Can anyone please give me advice on divetek equipment, If they are any good or should I rather go with some other brand name, please

did u end up buying divetek

No, I ended up with ScubaPro equipment, which I ordered from a online website called scubastore, they had scuba pro equipment on special, and the Rand to Euro value at that time was pretty good, so I got my equipment for half the price than what you buy it for in South Africa

ha ha im also buying online i think :)

just thought id come back and add my 2 cents , i bought a divetek reg , well an octo , came with that braided flexi house etc , it breathes really really well and is very well made so i would recommend their products

Is that the reg that also breathes wet.

ha ha ha , it is indeed , ut both my G250v ( a known very good reg ) and the divetek 1 were breathing wet :) , i thought it was my 1st stage , but it apperas it cant be , so i think it may be something im doing ha ha

The divetek equipment is very good value for money and extremely reliable. First stages are sealed unit and there secind are Apeks clones. They breath very well. You are more than welcome yo PM if you require more information.

What type are diving are you planning on doing?

ha ha i had a very strong feeling that they were apeks clones , i have a friend who has apeks and they seem similar

oh and at the moment doing recreational stuff , once i got a few more dives wanna start leaning towards more tech
