My wife's NAUI cert wil be at one of the springs, I believe Blue Grotto on Sat morn, and Rainbow River on Sunday morn. The first half of the day is wet time, then class time the second half, but when I get to the springs, I'll want to stay till both tanks are dry!
I'll send more info when I get it, times, costs, OH BTW...
The wife and I will be getting the annual special use permit for state parks next month and it allows up to 6 or 8 people in on the card. I am not sure if they are all included if diving, or if still have to pay the fees, but am checking on that. We can get four people and gear easilly in the van. Six if we squeeze. Manatee springs is my fav haunt since it's cheap!

It has a dozen stickers on the back. The personalized tag says "TMBRWLF". We will probably be on the far side of the spring basin so the two year old can play on the beach. Look for two gus in black and grey AROPEK suits. Also look for a pretty lady with black hair who is in a BARE black and purple suit. The little one will probably be wearing a red n blue or yellow n blue neoprene life jacket or swimmer wings.

I was wondering if your just open water are have you taken any cavern or cave courses.
I'm only wondering because I go to the springs alot and do some caven and am currently taking intro to cave couse. It's interesting if you can go beyond the open water parts.

That's what's cool about Ginnie Springs... You only need to be OW Cert to go down into Ginnie, It's the others you need full certs for. I have never been in the ballroom and have seen pix and video. So far am just OW.

I been to the ballroom many times. Blue grotto is more errie than the ball room.
I've been in the caves at ginnie too.
If your interested some time I'll take you in the ballroom.
Have you ever been to blue grotto B4.
If not be carefull if you go past the peace rock. It goes down to almost 100 Ft fast.
Maybe we can hook up one weekend I have a couple of other people that want to do Ginnie and Blue Grotto.

I am working this pinched nerve out of my back, then up for dives. As it looks now, Holly's (Maneater) class on Oct 4,5 may be at one of the springs, perhaps Blue Grotto even. If she finds out it will be there, I'll definitely be up for that dive!
They will be discussing this weekend in class where they will be diving and I will be posting it on the board.
Aside from that we have the dive in SoFlo on the 25,26.
After that, I am up for a dive anytime considering I have to work Mon-Fri 4pm-midnight. Saturday dives, or orning weekday dives are cool and fully acceptable.
