DiveRite XT4: discolouration of faceplate after only 5 dives

Sounds like the easiest way. I can’t find a manual for this reg so it might a stupid question but how do they unscrew?

The faceplate is like a disc that screws into the reg body. Just twist it counter clockwise.

Okay, umm, mine turned bright pink with polka dots. All the girls are totally jealous and broke out their nail polish to accent and compete with me- nice try, not gonna happen.

That whole piece just spins off. The rubber inside pushes out.

Mine feels like anodized aluminium. If that's true: Once removed you can spray paint it black again. Or you can soak it with oven cleaner to make it silver.

But that looks like sun tan lotion to me.
