roakey:I don't think the "three C cells" is the pivitol issue about DIR/non-DIR. It would be burn time (do the 4 AA cells burn as long as 3 C cells?) the switching mechanisim (is it twist-on/off, or is there a switch to break?) and is the bulb overdriven?

- Delrin body

- weight 376 g (I realy don't know how many ounces it is but it's something around 0.75 lbs)
