Diverite Nitek Q question

Does anyone know what it means when the Q Dive Time Timer flashes? A friend had this happen and after the dive we looked in the manual and couldn't find a readily available answer. Please note the computer functioned normal with respect to NDL, Time and all other aspects.

It means you have an alarm set for max dive time. When you exceed it, it flashes.
