Is the Lady Bowen wreck a penetration dive?.

You could poke your head into a couple of holes, but it's not a penetration dive. It's pretty broken up - degraded over time.

Equipment found in search for missing Queensland diver
Police divers have found equipment believed to be owned by a north Queensland diver missing for three days.

Steven "Fozzy" Foster, 54, went missing while diving with three others at the Lady Bowen wreck, off Mission Beach, on Tuesday.

Police say the equipment was found before midday on Friday but has not led them to Mr Foster, who owns a Mission Beach water taxi company.

A very sad ending and we will never know what happened.

A big chance it was not a shark that killed him, but perhaps took him after he died. This happened to a diver off Sydney many years ago.

The coastal waters around this neck of the woods are pretty well known to locals to be a breeding ground for tiger sharks. So it's certainly possible, but we will probably never know.
