By Genny Martin Rivero> Quequi. - After two days of missing, the sea returned it.
The ocean current refloated on the shores of West Grand Beach Hotel is located in the southern part of the island, the lifeless body of American tourist Lashle Tamara, 43, who lost on Monday at noon while diving at the Palancar Reef, the ministerial authorities undertook to lift the body and take it to SEMEFO necropsy to undergo both the law and determine the causes of death, which probably explains what happened while diving.

Nearly 30 hours he misplaced the body of U.S. tourist at sea efforts suchas maritime authorities Capitaníade Port and Navy of Mexico, as well as several dive shops vessels that joined the search proved fruitless her for dead since Monday.

However, under Maritime Law wing, had to continue the search for up to 72 hours to give it officially as missing and dead, which was not necessary to stay afloat the body and reach the Occidental Grand Hotel beach near Kilometer 20 of the wagon south coast, where a worker was done cleaning the beach and picked up the bunks, noticed the body to the shore, so immediately reported the incident to his superiors, and these in turn reported to the ministerial authorities .

Those who arrived at the scene to attest to the facts and order the removal of the body to be taken to the Medical Examiner for the autopsy to determine the cause of death, which could also explain why they lost and ended tourist drowned.

Note that the house Dive Dive Paradise, which was hired by the deceased to go diving, at all times denied that one of his clients had been lost and after maritime authorities took the case they failed to support the search, despite having several boats and understaffed.

Oh my, that last paragraph is shocking

I must have missed the point. The diver missing was a new diver and something bad happened, that is all we know. Changing laws and speculating is a knee jerk reaction. I've had many dives and panicked on a few, luck and good fortune were on my side. More people are killed by falling coconuts than to diving, so stay under the water. Cheers

Myself, I'm going to take the last paragraph with grain of salt. How many times have we read the news wherein it said erroneous things, for example referring to "diver's oxygen tank". In this case, we have the additional problem of inadequate translation.

My deepest condolences to friends and family of the victim. I'd so hoped for a better outcome.

Dive Paradise is still run by Apple?

We dove with DP last June. DMs did a nose count after every dive. They even did a count on the surface while still un the water.

If you are offended by anything in this post, blame it on auto-correct & TapaTalk.

Getting back to this event, someone knows the experience level of Tammy and her dive buddy...if she had one.

How many dives did she and her buddy have in Cozumel?

Someone knows whether she got ahead of the group at some point and whether that factored in to her eventual death.

Someone knows if she was visible when the group started their ascent at the end of the dive and what transpired to where she was no longer seen.

If this type factually correct information can be provided, maybe something positive can come out of her tragic death. Knowing the truth may allow people to discuss how they would react in a similar case. That sort of on-going "education" may prevent a similar event happening in the future.

PS, I do not believe local news articles that suggest that the dive op did not participate in the search. Of course I do not know what is true but I can find such an assertion to be of little validity pending an official investigation.

There are a lot of people here in Utah that this forum is the only way we have of getting news. If there is one with more facts, and less speculation. I would really appreciate having it. I would like to thank those who have kept the subject matter to Tamy. It has been helpful in dealing with this. If you have any I would greatly appreciate updates. This is a tragedy that no one should have to endure. Blame won't help her now. Facts will help us get closure.
