I spent Friday through Sunday diving in the Hood Canal. Friday afternoon was pretty brutal with 25-30 mile an hour winds and a very low tide when I arrived at Sund Rock. Visibility was pretty much negligible in those conditions. Things improved a bit on Saturday and Sunday. I returned to Sund Rock on Saturday with some friends from Portland, OR and our same group then drove a few miles north and we dived Octopus Hole on Sunday morning. Water temp was 46 degrees, visibility was pretty milky and ranged from 5 to 20 feet depending on depth. Lots of Wolf Eels, Plumose Anemones and Giant Pacific Octos though!
