Nice!, I noticed you captured my camera anchor on video. I was not able to film due to the compression of the bag that housed my remote. I also had about 1lb too much weight in the housing.

Given any thought to sealing it in plastic (with a heat sealer)?

I had it sealed in a condom, which seamed to work pretty good. The only problem was that it could not shoot the signal through the condom at depth. I'm looking into solutions to remedy this. I will be shooting still pictures until I get it resolved and is why I have just invested another 400.00 into my still camera. I can't wait to get it in the water and try it. The next two weekends are out for me, which is OK because it will probably take that long to get all my new toys in.

Why not just turn it one with the remote before you get in the water and just leave the remote on the boat/shore? You wont be able to zoom in on objects, but you could still shot some pretty good video. Maybe you could even zoom you camera in a little before the dive so that you could still get some wide and some close video?

Saltwater Dives that took place during VortoberFest.

Great video, only problem is that it made me start cursing that I couldn't go.

Thats what I do. Dont even have a remote. Just hit record, seal up the housing and jump in. Probably shouldnt let the camera anchor dangle 10 ft below you either.
