I Will be in Willliamsburg, VA for two weeks beginning the
7th of May. Night diving spots? Weekend trips, one day shore or Boat Dives? Hunting???? Wrecks...I am having a major fiend for the H2O!! Never been diving in VA so any help or hints would be appreciated. Cheatham Annex diveable?? Or does Camp Cleary protect the water there as well during parachute training???

I lived in the Williamsburg area a few years ago and we trained students in a body of water alongside the interstate between Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. It is on the right side of the interstate and it has a Ski Jump that you can see from the interstate. There is a section of it roped off for diving and they have a couple of platforms and two small boats and a house trailer on the bottom. Bottom line----Not much to see, especially for someone with your experience.

So, you would probably be interested in wreck diving around Cape Hatteris North Carolina. Not much that I know of off the coast in Virginia Beach. Good luck and let me know how it works out.
